An artistic folk that moves between India, Israel, and the Near East, with poetic texts in Hebrew about belonging, guilt and victimhood, holding on and letting go. The performance presents original compositions with an ensemble of string, bow, and wind instruments from East and West, with double bass and drums that move between tight grooves and abstract soundscapes. Inspired by artists like Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, and Mark Eliyahu, from Israeli folk and classical Indian and Persian music, Dagan’s music creates an enchanting sound universe that connects innovation with rootedness.
