The third and final concert in our chamber series for this year will be dedicated to the enigmatic triangle that developed between Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, and his wife Clara. Brahms was a protégé and close friend of Robert Schumann, but the tension between Clara and Brahms always simmered beneath the surface. Alongside the program, which is full of musical romance, we will discuss the dramatic and unresolved relationships between these three talented composers.
