Radio Baghdad launches their third album, released under the Mazkeka label, in a festive performance with special guests. The show takes us back to the transition period of music that was created and performed in Iraq, which continued its journey here when Iraqis immigrated to Israel in the 1950s. The performance especially highlights the singer Filfel Gourji and the songs he recorded with the orchestra of Zuzu Musa. The album and the performance are a tribute to that time, bridging the past and present, and reflecting the geographic and cultural space we live in.”

Aviv Ezra – Vocals and Bongos
Yaniv Meisel – Oud and Vocals
Johanna Rittmüller – Violin and Vocals

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Mazkeka. Given the difficult year we have all endured and are still enduring, calling this event a "celebration" seems excessive. Instead, we invite you to focus on "deep listening." We still believe in the necessity of culture and live music as vital as air to breathe.

The lineup aims to reflect the reality we live in—between friction and solace, pain and healing. This year's Zikuk Festival spans five days, exploring all forms of artistic music —from traditional to experimental, jazz to folk, noise to electronic, lyrics to rhythm.
